We would like to introduce Rosa, a member of Grupo Todo lo Puedo En Cristo.

Rosa is a cosmetologist who studied in a cosmetic school how to cut hair and apply hair dye. She also pursued courses in baking where she learned to prepare all kinds of cakes. She actually prepares and sells cakes as a business venture during the week. On the weekends she visits her clients to work on a variety of cosmetic activities. The majority of her work is in dyeing hair because it is most highly demanded.

Rosa is married and has three children who are studying in college. Thanks to her work she has been able to help her children in their studies. With this loan she will purchase more dye and materials for her cakes. Rosa's dream is to have a beauty parlor. The atmosphere in her home feels like a beauty parlor so she hopes to keep working with EDAPROSPO so she can soon realize her dream.

Rosa appreciates your support!

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
