The IFESOWAKPO group is made up of three friends who live in the same neighborhood. Justin, the group's representative, is the man who is raising his hand in the photo. Justin is 31 years old and married to a merchant named Baïra. The couple has three children, all of whom live in their care. Some of their children have received schooling. Justin lives with his wife and children, and he and his wife both provide for the family's needs.

In order to provide for the family's various needs, Justin has been working as a couturier in his region for the past ten or so years. On the side, he sells phone cards. This business allows him to support his family without much difficulty. Justin stocks up in his region and in a town in Benin.

Striving to satisfy his customers and increase his sales and revenue, Justin, along with the other members of the IFESOWAKPO group, is seeking a third loan from ALIDé. This loan will allow them to expand their business and increase their customer base and their revenue. Their previous loans were correctly repaid.

Le groupe IFESOWAKPO est composé de trois personnes qui sont des amis résidant dans un même quartier. Le représentant du groupe, du nom de Justin est celui qui a la main levée sur la photo. Justin est âgé de 31 ans et est mariée à une marchande du nom de Baïra. Le couple a trois enfants, dont certains scolarisés et tous à la charge du couple. Justin vit ensemble avec sa femme et ses enfants et assure ensemble avec sa femme, les divers besoins du ménage. Pour contribuer aux différents besoins, Justin exerce depuis une dizaine d’année, la couture dans sa région. Parallèlement à cette activité, Justin vend des cartes de recharges. Cette activité lui permet de répondre sans grande difficulté à ses besoins. Justin s’approvisionne dans sa région et dans une ville du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Justin sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe IFESOWAKPO, un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Ce prêt leur permettra de rehausser le niveau de leur activité et d’accroître leur clientèle et leur revenu. Les premiers prêts ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
