Saveith is 42 years old. She is married and lives with three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling fertilizer, rice and fuel for more than a year, earning approximately $25 per day. Her husband (who is joining her in the picture) is a rice farmer who earns about $5 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Saveith is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase a bulldozer for rental. This purchase will help her acquire the security to start the new business. In the future, she would like to run a gas station and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
