La is 40 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling noodles for more than three years, earning approximately $25 per day. Her husband (who joins her in the picture) is a construction worker who earns about $3 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, La is requesting a loan of $650 to purchase groceries to sell. By doing so, she will be able to generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her noodle store and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
