Juana works very diligently and enthusiastically as a cashier in a local cafeteria. She heads to work every day and believes that she does well because of her good work habits and the kind customer service she provides.
Juana is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they give her she will be able to add a room to her house because her house is currently built with matting and this way she’ll be able to have said room so that her family and she can have better security and wellbeing. Juana will thus continue working and striving to reach her great dream of becoming a good professional. She hopes to get ahead with her family.

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
