Born around December 1985 in the city of Sikasso, Mr. Mahamadou is married and has two children. He lives with this wife and children in a large traditional household with his parents and brothers in Sanoubougou I Kapel Kourou, one of the peripheral districts in the city of Sikasso.
After running a bakery without success, Mr. Mahamadou began selling mattresses from Bobo Dioulasso (in Burkina Faso) two years ago.
To satisfy his increasingly growing clientele, he decided to join the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso, with whom he has already obtained three previous loans, all of which were repaid properly. Thus, he is seeking a fourth loan to expand his business.
This fourth loan will allow him to buy 20 mattresses of thickness 15, 10 mattresses of thickness 20 "two places", and 10 mattress of thickness 20 "three places". He is highly sought-after by the carpenters/woodworkers in the city. His mattresses are sold at retail in cash and often on credit.
With this loan, he foresees realizing a monthly profit of 120,000 FCFA, which will be used to contribute to the household expenses, to pay the interest on his loan, and to reinvest in his business.

Monsieur Mahamadou après l’activité de boulanger sans succès, s’est initié il y a deux années à la vente de matelas en provenance de Bobo Dioulasso (au Burkina Faso).
Pour satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, il décida de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui il a déjà bénéficié de trois prêts qui ont été tous correctement remboursés, ainsi il sollicite un quatrième afin d’augmenter son fonds de commerce.
Ce quatrième prêt lui permettra d’acheter, 20 matelas d’épaisseurs 15, 10 matelas d’épaisseur 20 “deux places” et 10 matelas d’épaisseur 20 “trois places”. Il est très sollicité surtout par les ménuisiers-ébénistes de la ville. Ses matelas sont vendus en détail au comptant et souvent à crédit.
Il envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 120 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour contribuer aux dépenses familiales, payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
