Rachael is a married mother of one child and she doesn’t go to school. She has no additional family members.
She has a shop selling cosmetics for different skin types and also weaves. She has been in this business for the last two years. She has applied for a loan of 500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of cosmetics like braids, weaves, and oils. Her major business challenges include seasonality and increasing prices of cosmetics in Uganda.
She is aspiring of owning a fully stocked cosmetics shop and also buying a plot of land. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and food.
