Hadija is a 34-year-old married woman with two children living in Kasese, Uganda. Ten years ago, Hadija decided to set up a retail shop in her trading centre to bring goods nearer to her customers and also to be able to earn income for her family. She is challenged by customers not paying on time, price fluctuation due to the current inflation rate, and inadequate capital to meet the increasing demand. She did not have a chance to further her education because her parents could not afford school fees, but now she struggles to send her children to school and also wants to build a permanent house. She intends to own a wholesale shop and buy land to grow crops. Hadija is requesting a loan to buy beans to sell.
