Chhun Heng is 34 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia.
She has been selling vegetables for more than three years, earning about $6 daily. Her husband (who is joining her in the picture) runs a taxi service (motor taxi) and earns about $4 each day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Chhun Heng is requesting a loan of $1,500 to raise capital to purchase more vegetables to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to purchase a truck to carry vegetables to sell and to help her children earn bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
