Gulimkan is 59 years old and a widow. To provide the primary source of income for her family, she has been involved in farming and animal husbandry for 16 years, having started this business with a sum of 3,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Gulimkan requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy livestock for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earnings into a continued business development by increasing the land area, available for sowing.
