Mendbayar, 38, is a skillful driver and she runs a taxi around the districts of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. She has been operating her business for 12 years nonstop for her family. She is unmarried and lives with only her daughter in an apartment with two rooms.
Her daughter, Margad-Erdene, 18, has a chin failure and her mother has been trying to support her daughter to heal it for many years. Recently, she decided that her daughter will have surgery in the state medical center. It is a hard surgery and the medical expenses will be quite costly. The loan she is requesting will be used to cover the cost of her daughter’s surgery.
