Mariothi is 44 years old. She is the mother of two children, ages three and eight, whom she loves very much. She strives and works hard for them, so that she can provide them with a decent life and, above all, lots of love so that they can become better people. When she has a little spare time she enjoys listening to music very much, and she also likes eating one of her favorite dishes, which is the delicious "arroz con pollo” (rice with chicken).

She resides in the city of Nazca, which is known for its very warm weather. It is mainly an agricultural area, where particularly prickly pears, kidney beans, and lima beans are grown, among other crops. It is also home to several highly visited tourist attractions such as the Nazca Lines, the Cahuachi Cemetery, and others.

Mariothi is a very hard worker. She works at a small pharmacy, since she earned a Pharmacy Technician degree. Mariothi works about eight hours a day. She believes things are going well for her at work because she is very kind to the customers and, above all, she is a very responsible worker.

Mariothi is very grateful to Kiva lenders, because thanks to the help they have provided she will be able to purchase merchandise to start her grocery sales business (rice, sugar, milk, and other items). This will allow her to have another source of income for her home expenses, to improve her quality of life, and to be able to keep fighting every day in order to make her greatest dream come true, which is to have her own home.

Mariothi tiene 44 años de edad, es madre de 2 hijos de 3 y 8 años a quienes quiere muchísimo y por quienes se esfuerza mucho por darle una vida digna y sobre todo con mucho amor, para que sean mucho mejores que ella. Cuando dispone de un tiempito libre le gusta mucho escuchar música y también comer uno de sus platillos favoritos el cual es el riquísimo “Arroz con pollo”. su vivienda se ubica en la ciudad de Nazca, ciudad que se caracteriza por tener un clima muy calido y sobre todo se dearrolla la agricultura, en especial el cultivo de tunas, frejoles, pallares, entre otros; asimismo posee varios atractivos turisticos muy visitados como "las Lineas de Nazca, el cementerio de cahuachi, entre otros". Mariothi es muy trabajadora, ella labora en una pequeña farmacia, ya que ella estudio la carrera de Técnica de Farmacia, Mariothi trabaja alrededor de 8 horas al día; ella cree que le va bien en su trabajo porque es muy amable con los clientes y sobre todo porque es muy responsable en su trabajo.

Mariothi está muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la ayuda que le han brindado ella podrá realizar la compra de mercadería para iniciar su negocio de venta de abarrotes (arroz, azúcar, leche, entre otros), de esta manera ella podrá tener un ingreso mas para los gastos de su hogar y poder mejorar su calidad de vida, así ella podrá seguir luchando cada día para hacer realidad su más grande sueño:” Tener su casa propia”.
