Don Mario tiene 61 años de edad, es casado y tienen dos hijos. Él se dedica desde muy pequeño a la agricultura junto son su padre y sus hermanos. Por razones económicas en su familia, él no pudo asistir a la escuela, pues tenía que trabajar mucho. A sus 20 años se caso y empezó a trabajar por su propia cuenta para mantener a su familia. Para comprar los insumos agrícolas se desplaza a tres kilómetros de su casa, paga un vehiculo para transportarse, luego traslada la mercadería en una carreta durante un kilómetro hasta el lugar donde tiene sus cultivos.

El préstamo que esta solicitando a Fundación Campo, es para comprar abono, fertilizantes, para cultivar 7,000 metros de maíz. Con la inversión pretende mejorar su producción para mejorar el nivel de vida de su familia. En un futuro desea ampliar la cantidad de sus cultivos.
