Ega is married and the mother of three children who attend a local school. Ega has a retail shop where she has been selling flour, rice, sugar, and other grocery items for over five years. She gets her supplies from the nearby town and maintains a large number of customers.
Experienced with loans, she requested and obtained financing from Yehu with the aim of satisfying customer needs and increasing her profit. The profit generated will enable her to help with her children's schooling and to help her provide her family with a quality life.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
