Haxhere is a married thirty-year-old woman with four children. She lives in a small village in Kosovo. Until now, she used to live with her husband’s brother and his family, but they have recently been able to move out into their own home.
Her husband cuts wood and sells it for heating purposes as a way of making a living. Their family is also involved in an agricultural business. They keep cows so as to avoid paying for the 5 liters of milk each day that is necessary to provide for her children and family.
For the first time, she is requesting a loan to buy another cow.
In the future, Haxhere hopes to renovate her stable and to add more cows. Her goal is to improve her life and offer her children a better and healthy life.
She is very thankful to Kiva lenders!
