Maia is 42 years old and lives in a small village of the Telavi district. She is married and has two sons (15 and 19 years old) and a father-in-law in her family.
Her husband is a car dealer and gets a monthly income. Maia’s father-in-law is provided with a retirement pension.
Maia is involved in dairy farming. In particular, she owns three milking cows and two calves. She produces yogurt and sells it locally. Her sons help Maia to run their family business.
Maia has applied for this loan to increase the number of cows. With the requested loan she plans to purchase two milking cows. This will allow Maia to receive more milk for her dairy and increase the sales. She will be able to expand her dairy business and make it more profitable. This will give Maia an opportunity to improve her family's living conditions and insure a better future for them.
