La Señora María es una socia activa del banco comunal El Cisne hace un año, vive por la parroquia del Valle en Cuenca, lugar que tiene una geografía accidentada la cual le da paisajes que se quedan gravados en la memoria, su gente es trabajadora y se dedica al comercio, cría de animales y agricultura, muchos laboran en la ciudad.

Doña María tiene 53 años, está casada y ha concebido 4 hijos de 25, 22, 13 y 11 años de edad, su primer hijo está casado y vive independiente, su segunda hija trabaja y ayuda económicamente, su tercer hijo estudia en el colegio y su ultima hijo en una escuelita de la localidad. Su esposo labora en el área de la construcción prestando sus servicios como albañil, la casa en la que viven es de propiedad conyugal.

Ella se dedica a la agricultura siendo sus cosechas para el consumo de su hogar, también se dedica a la cría de ganado y la leche que obtiene la vende en su comunidad.

Su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra cerdos para iniciar con la crianza de estos animales.

Su meta es criar más animales.
