Tamriko is 20 years old and lives in a small village of Ozurgeti district. She lives with her husband, parents-in-law, brother-in-law, and 4-year-old son. Tamriko’s husband, Zurab, works as an artisan. Her mother-in-law is provided with a retirement pension.
Tamriko runs the agricultural business with her family members. They have a large plot of agricultural land, where citrus, maize and nuts are grown. The family sells their agricultural production locally.
Besides her agricultural activities, Tamriko has operated an animal husbandry business. In particular, she owns a milking cow and two calves. She is very hard-working and tries to do the best for the family.
Tamriko requested a loan to purchase a plot of land. She plans to expand her agricultural business through planting additional nut trees. After several years, Tamriko will be able to double her nut production and sales.
With this loan, the income of the family will significantly increase. All members of the family will be able to improve their living conditions.
