Jane is 41 years old, is married to John, and has two children. She has been in poultry farming for the last ten years, earning KES 50,000 monthly.
This is Jane's third loan from Kiva partner KADET, after successfully servicing her previous loans. She plans to use this loan of KES 100,000 to purchase chick feed and chicks and to renovate the poultry house.
Jane plans to plow the anticipated profits back into the business. Her hopes and dreams are to expand her poultry business in order to earn more income.
