Terng is 50 years old. She is married and resides with five children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling bananas for more than seven years, earning approximately $10 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $4 daily. Four of her children are employed. They earn about $16 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Terng is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase clothes to resell. By doing so, she would have one more business and earn more income to support the family.
