Maria
María is 64 years old and has been married to Andrés for 45 years. They have eight children, but now only two of them live with them. Her house is her own, she acquired it 34 years ago. As the house is extensive, her children can live independently, so she does not feel alone with her husband.

María's main activity is the grocery store that she has had for 21 years. She also has four cows, a bull, chickens and guinea pigs, which she sells or eats according to her need. Also, she plants corn, barley and alfalfa, but the latter is for food for her animals. She sells her crops to a wholesaler who visits often and knows the quality of their land. Now she wants to improve her grocery store, knowing she will not have the same strength when she ages more and will have to work alone in that business.

María belongs to the solidarity group,"Los emprendedores (Entrepreneurs)," and this is her 18th loan with MFP. She is so grateful for the support they have given her to meet her objectives. On the other hand, she promises to meet her payments on time. María will invest the requested loan to buy rice and sugar by the bag for her store.
