Aleja is 37 years old and has two children, ages 9 and 15. She works raising and selling pigs in the town of Abapo. This loan is her first within the institution. Aleja will use this loan to buy pigs for her business. Her reason for applying for this loan is the lack of capital to buy pigs. Aleja confronts challenges in her business, such as improving her quality of life and she is going to use the profits to improve the quality of feed for her pigs. Her wish is to be able to have a farm where she can raise a number of pigs to be able to improve her economic stability.
