Maritza is a woman of 23 years of age, she lives in the city of Pucallpa with her partner and their one-year old. She is a very friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic person who, along with her partner, put all their energy into getting ahead and improving their stock in life.

Sadly, as Maritza had to work from a young age to support her parents, she was unable to finish primary education, but she would have very much liked to have done so, because she dreams of becoming a great nurse some day. In her free time, she likes to decorate her small home so that her family feels happy and content.

On her own initiative and with a lot of hard work and enthusiasm, Maritza opened up her small business selling cakes, drinks and fruits. She starts working in the early hours of the morning and spends on average 10 hours working. Maritza feels at ease performing her job and she feels that it is going well given that her customers recommend her delicious home-made cakes and the good service.

Maritza is very thankful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they have given she will be able to buy corrugated metal sheets, wooden posts, nails and other materials with which she wants to repair the roof of her home given that it suffered severe damage due to heavy rains. In this way, Maritza will be able to offer her family a greater level of safety and well-being, as such she will continue working and striving to get ahead in life.

Maritza es una mujer de 23 años, vive en la ciudad de Pucallpa con su pareja y su pequeño hijo de un año, ella es una persona muy amable, trabajadora y entusiasta, que junto con su pareja dedican todos sus esfuerzos por salir adelante y superarse; lamentablemente por la necesidad de trabaja desde muy joven para apoyar a sus padres, Maritza no pudo culminar sus estudios primarios, pero le hubiera gustado mucho poder hacerlo ya que sueña en convertirse en una gran Enfermera algún dia, en sus ratos libres le gusta decorar su pequeño hogar para que su familia se sienta feliz y alegre.
Por iniciativa propia, con mucho empeño y entusiasmo Maritza puso en marcha su pequeño negocio de venta de queques, refrescos y frutas, desde tempranas horas de la mañana ella inicia su labor, dedicando un aproximado de 10 horas, Maritza se siente a gusto realizando su labor y cree que le va bien ya que sus clientes la recomiendan por sus deliciosos queques caseros y por su buen trato.
Maritza se encuentra muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva, ya que gracias a la ayuda brindada podrá realizar la compra de calaminas, palos de madera, clavos y otros materiales, ya que desea poder refacciona el techo de su vivienda, ya que por las intensas lluvias ha sufrido grandes daños; de esta manera Maritza podrá brindar mayor seguridad y bienestar a su familia, así ella seguirá trabajando y esforzándose para salir adelante.
