Tengiz is 58 years old and lives in a small village in Baghdati district. He is married and has a wife, Izolda, and a son, George. George works as a security officer in a private company and earns a monthly salary. Tengiz and Izolda earn their living through a dairy farm with three milking cows. Izolda milks cows twice a day and produces cheese. Part of the cheese is used by the family and the rest is sold locally. They also own a plot of land and a vineyard. Tengiz and Izolda are especially busy with the plot during the spring and summer seasons in order to ensure a good harvest in late summer which they sell at the local open market.
Tengiz is now requesting a loan to purchase a milking cow. He will be able to increase cheese production and sales as well. This will help him to increase the family’s income significantly. With increased income, Tengiz will repair the house which is very old and uncomfortable. Taking into account the above-mentioned points, he will be able to provide better living conditions for his family members.
