Zakariya is a married man living with his wife and three children. Two of them are working and one is still attending school. He’s a 42-year-old hard worker looking to better enhance his family’s way of living. Zakariya has many years of experience in his current job. He’s a furniture painter who works with high professionalism. He works on different projects and always tries to offer his customers the best results he can. He’s known for being punctual and well-organized.
Today, he’s asking for a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase added painting tools for his business such as brushes, oils, new paint colors, and many other items. He will be utilizing the loan to improve his work and take on added projects. Zakariya is grateful for all the good things God has given him. In the near future, he looks to take more projects maybe outside the country if this will help him learn new designs and better develop his business.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
