Ianrocel, 34 years old, is a single entrepreneur of Sto. Niño, Tukuran, and is earning income from his business of buying and selling rice. It has been almost three years now and he earns 20,000 a month.
To improve business, he wants to borrow the amount of 30,000 from GDMPC microcredit, which he just joined recently to obtain more sacks of rice to sell. Before long, he’s hopeful of the possibility of expanding his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
