Rosario Zelmira
Rosario is a young woman of 26. She lives in Ica, a city noted for its warm and inviting climate. Also, one can enjoy tourist attractions such as Huacachina Lake, which is located in the middle of amazing dunes, where adventure sports such as sand-boarding are practiced. As well, farming is carried on, especially the cultivation of grapes, asparagus, lima beans, beans and other crops.

When she has free time, she really likes to play sports: especially volleyball with her friends and neighbors. As well, she likes to enjoy one of her favorite dishes, which is the very delicious “arroz con pollo” (Peruvian-style rice with chicken).

Rosario works day to day as a teacher in a primary school in her city. She teaches the computer course. She works around eight hours a day, and this way is able to contribute toward the household expenses.

She believes she is doing well in her job because she she has a great deal of patience with the children, and above all because she is responsible and punctual.

Rosario is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, because thanks to the help they have provided, she will be able to pay for her teacher education course.

She needs to continue specializing in order to be considered for a better position in the future. This way she will be able to have better knowledge and above all keep studying and working in order to realize her greatest dream: To have her own home and to be a better teacher.

Rosario es una joven de 26 años de edad, ella vive en la ciudad de Ica, ciudad que se caracteriza por su clima cálido y acogedor, asimismo se puede apreciar atractivos turísticos como la laguna de “Huacachina, la cual se ubica en medio de maravillosas dunas, en las cuales se practican deportes de aventura como el samboarding, asimismo se desarrolla la agricultura, en especial se cultiva la uva, esparrago, pallares, frejoles, entre otros. Cuando tiene un tiempo libre le gusta mucho hacer deporte, especialmente jugar vóley con sus amigas y vecinas de su barrio; asimismo le gusta disfrutar de uno de sus platillos favoritos el cual es el riquísimo “Arroz con pollo”
Día a día Rosario trabaja como profesora en un colegio de educación primaria de su ciudad, ella enseña el curso de Computación; ella labora alrededor de 8 horas al día y con ello puede colaborar con los gastos de su hogar; ella cree que le va bien en su empleo porque tiene mucha paciencia con los niños y sobre todo porque es responsable y puntual.

Rosario está muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la ayuda que le han brindado ella podrá pagar su curso de maestría, ya que quiere seguir especializándose y así poder postular más adelante a un mejor puesto de trabajo, así ella podrá tener mejores conocimientos y sobre todo seguir estudiando y trabajando para hacer su más grande sueño:” Tener su casa propia y ser una mejor maestra”.
