Uon, aged 51, is an industrious mother of five children who are attending school. She pays her full attention to her farming business, from which she is able to provide for her family’s basic necessities. She grows rice and other seasonal crops on her own farmland located in Baray district, Kompong Tom province. Her husband is very supportive in the maintenance of the fields.
Uon needs additional capital to pay the operating costs of the farming process. For this reason, Uon is requesting a loan of 2,000,000 KHR to hire laborers to transplant her rice crop. This will allow her to improve her business and ensure a good harvest in the coming season.
