Tabu is a 28 year old married woman with two children. She is managing a retail shop which she likes to restock it with the basic ingredients. Tabu is married to Jackson who is self employed and together they operate the retail shop, selling a variety of consumer goods. She describes market competition as her major challenge.
Her cry is to see all her children become professionals. Her inventory has gone down and she wants to restock it. With the loan, she will be able to purchase maize and wheat flour, rice, and sugar.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
