Nelly is requesting an individual loan for her business. She is representative of all the hard-working women in The Seybo. Nelly lives with her family composed of her four children and her long-term partner in their rural community outside of El Seybo.
She is the mother of four children with different ages and she is working to help her long-term partner to bring in extra income and provide changes for her family. Her business is Animal Sales. She raises animals to be sold after 3-5 months or at the time they can be consumed. She breeds them, especially pigs, because they can be sold half grown or in December for Christmas parties. She also breeds goats, chickens, ducks, and other birds. She will invest this loan to buy more animals. After she had run her small business and invested in it for over six years, she is requesting her 2nd loan with Esperanza.
