Khun S. P. is a 29 year-old mother of two from Kampong Cham province in Cambodia. She started a small business in 2007 selling groceries in Phnom Penh, and makes approximately $5 per day. Her husband works as a police officer and earns $2 per day. Together they support their family and pay for their older child to attend school.
Khun S. P. would like to borrow $1,100 to buy goods in bulk so that she can increase her profit margin and begin to expand her young business.
