Accion USA just funded Saoul, the proud owner of Heed Magazine. Established in 2009, Heed Magazine is an urban, spiritually-based publication targeting a city-dwelling, multi-ethnic, 18-35 year old demographic. The magazine fills a niche in the urban marketplace highlighting topics, venues and personalities with a positive, clean-edge, yet hip twist that lends inspirational perspectives on current events and pop culture. Saoul brings a great deal of experience in design, communication and publishing to Heed Magazine. He studied Visual Arts and Graphic Design as an undergraduate, and recently completed a Masters in Graphic Communications Management and Technology during which he focused on publishing. Saoul needs a loan to carry out print production of the next three issues hitting newsstands this fall. Help Saoul jump his business as he states “into the lane of making real revenue”.
