Elle est vendeuse des oignions et ails. Son mari fut lâchement décédé suite à une courte maladie, bientôt 9 ans passé. Elle étale ses marchandises dans un entrepôt. Il y a 16 ans révolus qu’elle exerce ces activités. Cependant, elle vient de réaliser 10 cycles dans le programme de microcrédit de Hekima. Ce nouveau crédit doit lui servir de s’approvisionner avec 2 sacs d’oignions, 2 sacs d’ails. En plus, elle ambitionne scolariser ses enfants et construire une seconde maison pour ses enfants orphelins. HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
