She earns a living through working as a construction worker together with her husband. She has been doing construction work for 6 years, and she can earn about 19,000 KHR per day. Sina's group consists of three female members. This is the second loan for Sina, while the other two members in her group are new clients with VisionFund. The past loan has made her living conditions better than before. Now, she and other two members are seeking a new loan. As the group leader, she will use her loan portion to buy construction materials to support her business including sand, cement, brick, etc. She hopes to earn more income and maintain her standard of living.

VisionFund Cambodia is a Christian organization and microfinance institution that provides small loans and other financial services to improve the lives of children, empower poor women and their families, and grow successful businesses. The organization works primarily in rural parts of Cambodia and has distinguished itself by targeting the very poor who require smaller loan sizes, regardless of religious beliefs, gender or ethnic background.
