Ayshi is a 47-year-old Lebanese single woman. She's living with her one parent and two working siblings. They all cooperate together to seek a better life. This is the reason why Ayshi started to work very early, hoping she could bring added income to the family. She has been working in cosmetic sales since 2000. She has customers from all over the neighboring areas.
Today, she has the intention to borrow a loan from Kiva partner, Ameen s.a.l., to buy beauty products such as lipsticks, powders, eye shadows and many other items. This will be her third loan, and it will help her boost her earnings and, therefore, improve her family’s way of living. One of Ayshi’s biggest dreams is to better develop her business and gain the biggest number of clients that she can.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
