Yassine is a 21-year-old single man who has worked as a plumber for 9 years. In 2005, he started working on his own. He was only 14 when he started his own business to improve his family and his living.

Just like most Palestinians, Yassine didn't take the chance to finish his education, because his family's financial situation forced him and almost all of his family members to seek additional income. As a 12-year-old child, he started working and missed almost all of his teenage joy and experiences. He misses being a child, but this made him more challenged, to improve his living and to make sure he will have a better shining future.

Yassine applied for a Youth Loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua to buy newly released plumbing tools. These will help him to do most of his work with good quality and in a short period of time. The good thing about his business is that he is not limited inside the camp; he can go and provide his service anywhere in Lebanon.
