Roy Renzo
Roy, 20, is a young, single man living in the city of Cañete in Mala District with his parents and siblings. Despite his young age he’s very hardworking, enthusiastic and cheerful who very much wants to get ahead. Unfortunately, in order to help his parents with household expenses he had to start working very young and because of this has been unable to study computer programming which he so desires but he dreams with being able to do so very soon. In his free time he enjoys watching movies and sometimes cooks a delicious “Ají de Gallina” to share with his family.

Thanks to his father’s support who taught him how to drive, today Roy works day to day as a taxi driver in his city. He starts working very early in the morning and works for about 12 hours daily in order to have an average of 25 customers. Sometimes Roy also works in construction. He feels good doing his work and feels that he does well because of the kind, respectful way he treats others.

Roy is grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support provided he will be able to repair and service his vehicle. In this way Roy will have a car in good operating conditions to continue offering taxi services thus increasing his income which in the not too distant future he plans to use to buy a new car to continue working to support his family so that they can get ahead together.
