Merlisa, 37, is a member of Las Gaviotas Communal Bank. She lives with her life partner and is the mother of three children (two boys and a girl). She has been a member of FINCA Perú for a year. She works selling fish in her business on Saturdays and Sundays to offer the freshest fish. Merlisa says that in her experience as a member of FINCA Perú she has learned that she always has to save and invest adequately in her business.

Her dream for the future is to give her children a good education so they can be professionals. Merlisa also wants to continue saving to make improvements on her home.

She is going to invest the loan she is requesting in buying various types of fish.
