Rasim, who is photographed next to his taxi, is a 43-year-old man. He is married and a father to two sons and two daughters, aged 2-16 years. Rasim is employed but the low salary he gets isn't enough to cover his family's cost of living.
For the past four years, Rasim has been driving a taxi, which has been a profitable project, but also needs more support to cover its costs. Rasim is requesting a $2,000 loan from FATEN to help him cover the costs of painting and purchasing a new engine for the taxi he drives. This will increase the taxi's capacity to work extra hours and will enable Rasim to take additional internal and external requests, which will improve the family's income.
