Alma is 42 years old, married, and has three children who live with her. She is from Dicoloc, Jimenez, Misamis Occidental, Philippines. To support her daily needs, Alma runs a small eatery from her home. The foods are personally cooked by her, and each month she is able to earn an income of about PHP 8,000. In 2007, she joined Kiva field partner GDMPC.
Alma has requested a loan of PHP 30,000 which she intends to use to purchase raw ingredients needed to make products for sale. She hopes to expand her business and allow her to earn more so she can live better.
