Vannak is 36 years old. She is married and resides with five children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $5 daily. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $8 each day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Vannak is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she plans to rebuild her house to make it more convenient for the family.
