Jeresom is a cattle trader and does farming to supplement the income from the cow's milk with the sale of his surplus crop yields. With the income, he has managed to buy land and take his children to good schools. He is compensating for his lack of education to educate his children. He works very hard to provide all the necesities of his house hold.
