Henry
Henry lives in the town of Wakiso in the Kampala East region of Uganda. He is married and has 5 children, 3 of them currently in school. For the past 5 years, Henry has been working hard to manage his poultry business, where he raises broiler chickens and sells to locals.

To help expand his business, Henry has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more birds and will help Henry to generate greater profits. He will also create more space for the birds to live. Henry hopes that, in the future, he will be able to grow his income after his investment in his business.

Henry is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Henry who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
