In the Andrés De Vera parish of the city of Portoviejo the 11 members of the 3 de Noviembre communal bank meet every two weeks. They work in different activities such as general sales, services and more. This is their second cycle in the bank and they are very happy because the previous loan they received helped them a lot with their businesses and their daily lives.

Ayda lives in this place. She is 41 years old and in a common law marriage from which she has four children aged 18, 17, 16 and 13. The oldest is in college and the three youngest are in high school. Her husband works in a business.

In order to help her husband with the household expenses, especially her childrens' education expenses, she works doing several things. She works as a domestic employee in a house in town, but in her free time and on her days off she sells all types of clothing and Esika products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and women's accesories). With this, she earns something extra and this way she helps her children, since their education represents a big expense and for her the most important thing is for them to have a very good education. She has been doing this activity for 3 years and it is going very well for her.

This loan is to buy clothes, perfumes, creams and cosmetics. This is her second cycle in the communal bank and she likes it because they have given her and her group companions so much.

Her dream is for her children to have good professions.
