Aminata is 29 years old and married with two children, ages 5 and 12 years old. She runs a cosmetics business in Kandeh town, southern area in Bo, Sierra Leone. Her children are currently attending school and she also has one relative at home.
Aminata's been in this business for 10 years and sells cream, soap, hair brushes, Posse, and chain and baby oil. Her husband is a security [guard]. She also receives income from the [allowance] given to her for food. She says her business has grown; cosmetics are the fastest business in her environment but she has insufficient capital to operate the business.
Aminata requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to buy more body cream, hair cream, perfume and baby oil. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her educate her children and improve her standard of living. In the future, she would like to expand her business to a high level. She is grateful for your support.
