Stella of Panduma, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, has been selling a variety of different vegetables, spices and more for more than five years. She earns 12,570 Philippine pesos (PHP) per month. She’s 50 years old now, yet continues to hang on to her retail business to give adequate support to her four children. She's a new member of GDMPC. In order to enhance her store, Stella borrowed 25,000 PHP from GDMPC [Kiva's Field Partner] to obtain more vegetables and spices to sell. Stella hopes that someday her children will be successful in their careers.
