The communal bank SUEÑO DEL FUTURO is made up of eight members – six women and two men. The bank is coordinated by Martha, a 56-year-old woman with three children aged 13, 16 and 18. Martha bakes and sells bread for a living. She has her own bakery, which is situated in the town of Nueva Esperanza. This will be the first loan cycle she has taken part in with the group. Martha plans to use this loan to purchase an industrial bread oven, which will allow her to provide a better service to her customers and increase her profits. She decided to apply for the loan because she wants to keep improving her business. She plans to use her profits to keep buying bread-making utensils and ingredients. Martha is very hard-working and is grateful for the opportunity that she and her fellow group members have been given, since some of them are single parents.
El Banco de emprendimiento SUEÑO DEL FUTURO Está compuesto por ocho integrantes seis mujeres y dos varones, la presidenta del banco es la Sra. Martha tiene 56 años, y tiene tres hijos de las edades de 13, 16 y 18 años, La Sra. Martha se dedica a la actividad de elaboración y venta de pan, tiene su panadería que se encuentra ubicado en la localidad de Nueva Esperanza, este préstamo es su primera secuencia dentro de la institución, la Sra. Martha va a utilizar este préstamo para la compra de un horno de panadería industrial y así de esta manera brindar un mejor servicio a sus clientes e incrementar sus ganancias, su razón para solicitar este préstamo es seguir mejorando en su negocio, la Sra. Martha va a utilizar los beneficios para seguir comprando utensilios e insumos para la elaboración de sus panes, la Sra. Martha es una persona muy trabajadora se siente feliz por la oportunidad brindada a ella ya sus compañeras de grupo ya que en algunos casos mantienen solas a sus familias.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
