Marie-Sylvie is a retailer and has been selling firewood near her home for 3 years. Her business is going well, but her capital does not allow her to buy a decent amount of stock. She is forced to buy a few bundles of wood to sell retail. Thanks to this loan, Marie-Sylvie would be able to buy a lorry load of wood, which would enable to her to avoid the daily trips and would decrease the transport costs she incurs when buying merchandise. It would increase her capital, her sales and therefore her profits.
She will save a part of her profit so that she can grow her business and open a wood store. The rest will help her to meet the needs of her family.
