Thanks to her know-how and experience, she won over her clientele over time. Sewing is a business that's at times very busy (during the holidays) and, at others, very calm (very few customers).
To avoid this period of time, which often puts her in difficulty, Emilienne would like to use this loan to buy "pagnes" fabrics (colorful African cloth) that will enable her to make various clothes for different ages and tastes. She will display them in the window of her workshop, in order to attract customers and increase her sales.
She will put away the sales profits, in part to provide for her children's needs, and reinvest the remainder in her business.

This loan is part of ACEP Cameroun's new loan program targeting poor clients who require smaller loans thant ACEP normally disburses. The smaller loan size allows clients with micro-enterprises to borrow and repay the funds they need to grow. By supporting this loan, you are expanding financial access to entrepreneurs with very little starting capital, including many who have never taken out a loan.
