Emilienne, age 42, is married and the mother of four children, aged 6 to 18, who all go to school. She's a seamstress and, fifteen years ago, she opened the workshop she's now running.

Thanks to her know-how and experience, she won over her clientele over time. Sewing is a business that's at times very busy (during the holidays) and, at others, very calm (very few customers).

To avoid this period of time, which often puts her in difficulty, Emilienne would like to use this loan to buy "pagnes" fabrics (colorful African cloth) that will enable her to make various clothes for different ages and tastes. She will display them in the window of her workshop, in order to attract customers and increase her sales.

She will put away the sales profits, in part to provide for her children's needs, and reinvest the remainder in her business.
