Sok Laun (pictured with her husband and her children) is 34 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kratie Province, Cambodia.
She has been selling dessert for more than two years, earning approximately $8 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $8 a day. In order to increase her family’s income, Sok Laun is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase a walking tractor to run a tilling service. This purchase will help her generate additional income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelors degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
